Waimārama School is a unique rural primary school set in a stunning environment that caters for students from Year 0-6. We are part of a close knit, beach-side community with a rich tapestry of cultural history and recreation connected to the local hapū and marae, our ocean, beach and gardens.

Our vision comes from a whakatauki / proverb written by Sir Tīmoti Karetu, a former Waimārama school student. The whakatauki is "Kei noho wawata eke!", which means 'don't let it remain a dream, rise up and achieve it'. We want our children to achieve their potential and be the best they can be.

Our values are underpinned by SIX BIG IDEA's. These ideas are what we focus on to help create the best outcomes for our tamariki / children.
